Class 6 Chapter 1 - A Tale of Two Birds Summary in Hindi and English

This is the narrative of a mother bird and her two young birds. The mother was killed in a storm, and the sons were separated throughout the storm. The tall tree they lived on also fell due to the tremendous wind, and they were blown to the other side of the forest. One of them landed among a gang of robbers, while the other landed near the ashram of the Rishi.

‘आ टेल ऑफ़ ट्व बर्ड्स’ गॉर्डन बी ग्रीर द्वारा लिखी गई है। यह एक माँ पक्षी और उसके दो युवा पक्षियों की कथा है। मां एक तूफान में मारी गयी थी, और उसके बेटों को पूरे तूफान के दौरान अलग कर दिया गया था। जिस ऊंचे पेड़ पर वे रहते थे, वह भी जबरदस्त हवा के कारण गिर गया, और उन्हें जंगल के दूसरी ओर उड़ा ले गया। इनमें से एक लुटेरों के गिरोह के बीच उतरा, जबकि दूसरा ऋषि के आश्रम के पास गिरा।

While following a deer one day, a king became fatigued. He arrived and sat under the tree near the thieves' cave. There, the king heard the voice of a large brown bird. The bandits were summoned to plunder the king. The king quickly rose from his seat and went away. He got close to Rishi's ashram.

एक दिन एक हिरण का पीछा करते हुए, एक राजा थका हुआ हो गया था। वह आया और चोरों की गुफा के पास पेड़ के नीचे बैठ गया। वहां, राजा ने एक बड़े भूरे रंग के पक्षी की आवाज सुनी। राजा को लूटने के लिए डाकुओं को बुलाया गया था। राजा जल्दी से अपनी आसन से उठकर चला गया। वह ऋषि के आश्रम के करीब आ गया।

He heard the bird's voice once more. But that was the reverse of everything he had previously heard. This bird advised the monarch to stay within the ashram and await the arrival of the Rishi. The King was astounded by the birds' resemblance, but this voice was far too soft. The bird informed the king that his brother had acquired the robbers' language. When the Rishi arrived, the king told him the plot of the birds. Rishi grinned and explained that the birds' behaviour was being influenced by the company's impact. He was reiterating what he'd heard, and the forest had plenty of unexpected twists and turns.

उसने एक बार फिर से पक्षी की आवाज सुनी। लेकिन यह सब कुछ वह पहले सुना था के विपरीत था। इस पक्षी ने राजा को आश्रम के भीतर रहने और ऋषि के आगमन की प्रतीक्षा करने की सलाह दी। राजा पक्षियों की समानता से चकित था, लेकिन यह आवाज बहुत नरम थी। पक्षी ने राजा को सूचित किया कि उसके भाई ने लुटेरों की भाषा हासिल कर ली है। ऋषि के आने पर राजा ने उसे पक्षियों का कथानक बताया। ऋषि ने मुस्कुराते हुए बताया कि पक्षियों का व्यवहार सांगत के प्रभाव से प्रभावित हुआ था। वह दोहरा रहा था कि उसने क्या सुना था, और जंगल में बहुत सारे अप्रत्याशित मोड़ और मोड़ थे।
