Answer: When Jumman’s aunt realised that she was not welcomed in his house she suggested Jumman give her a monthly allowance so that she could put up a separate kitchen for herself.

Answer: The villagers had different kinds of reactions when the aunt explained her case to them. Some sympathised with her situation, others laughed at her while a few asked her to make up with her nephew and his wife.

Answer: Jumman heard the case, he realised that he must not let his
personal feelings come in the way of speaking the truth and doing justice. He
gave the verdict on Algu’s favour and asked Samjhu Sahu to pay the price of the

Algu was surprised and praise the head of the Panch for being just and wise.
