1. “I have done something; oh, God! I’ve done something real at last.” Why does Andrew say this? What does it mean?

Answer: Andrew Manson, a young doctor, had performed admirably. His ecstasy is well-founded. He had not only assisted the middle-aged lady in the delivery of a healthy boy kid, but he had also restored their health. Susan Morgan's strength began to wane following the birth. Her pulse was nearly non-existent. Andrew gave her an injection and worked tirelessly to improve her heart's condition.

Andrew's greatest success was resuscitating the stillborn infant. First, he wrapped the youngster in a blanket and began the particular breathing technique. Then he tried dunking the baby in hot and cold water alternately. He toiled for half an hour in vain. He then made one final effort. With a harsh towel, he rubbed the youngster. With both hands, he continued to press and release the baby's small chest. The infant finally replied. He exhaled a sigh of relief. Andrew stepped up his game. The infant was now gasping. His little nostril emitted a bubble of mucous. The pale skin began to turn pink. His limbs hardened. Then there was the child's scream.

Andrew prayed to God to see his performance, which was nothing short of a miracle. It wasn't just theoretical discourse; it was a real and tangible accomplishment.

2. ‘There lies a great difference between textbook medicine and the world of a practising physician. Discuss.

Answer: Typically, practising physicians take the medications indicated in textbooks. In acute emergency situations, however, the physician's expertise, inventiveness, and practical approach take precedence over academic understanding. A sufferer of a bum injury, snakebite, or drowning suffocation, for example, requires rapid assistance.

The nearest doctor may not have all of the necessary equipment for the case. First aid is required in such a case to save the patient's life before rushing him to the hospital for adequate care. With limited resources at his disposal, the practising physician uses all of his clinical skills to keep the harm to a bare minimum and prevent the victim's condition from deteriorating further. In such instances, a stitch in time saves nine. The practical assistance is a godsend.

3. Do you know of any incident when someone has been brought back to life from the brink of death through medical help? Discuss medical procedures such as organ transplants and organ regeneration that are used to save human life.

Answer: Yes, I've seen and heard of people being brought back to life from the edge of death thanks to medical intervention. Surgical procedures, life-saving medications, and organ transplantation are all important aspects of modern medicine. Medical techniques such as organ transplant and organ regeneration are available at leading hospitals in advanced countries. The use of a blood bank or an eye bank is extremely widespread. People nowadays are eager to give various organs from their bodies to hospitals when they die. Organ regeneration techniques allow for the preservation of organs for a set amount of time before they are used to replace a patient's faulty organ. Transplants of the eye, heart, kidney, and liver are now commonplace. Artificial human organs will be manufactured in laboratories from non-human sources in the not-too-distant future.
