showered his praises on his, does he present his own thoughts. Thus, he manages
to convey his point without offending Think-Tank.

would you handle Think-Tank’s mistakes?
Answer:
I would do exactly what Noodle did. I would perhaps not adulate Think-Tank.
3. Do you think books are being replaced
by electronic media? Can we do away with books altogether?
Answer:
I strongly feel that electronic media is replacing books. While we can’t do
away with books completely, we still can manage without them to a large extent.
4. Why are books referred to as a man’s
best companion? Which is your favourite book and why? Write a paragraph about
that book.
Answer:
We call books a man’s best companions because they never judge us. They impart
knowledge and yet remain silent. A person can always find solace in books.
The
second and third parts are to be done by the student.

1. In what ways does Think-Tank
misinterpret innocent nursery rhymes as threats to the Martians? Can you think
of any incidents where you misinterpreted a word or an action? How did you
resolve the misunderstanding?
Answer:
Think-Tank misinterprets innocent nursery rhymes as threats to the Martians.
Omega reads the lines from the rhyme:
“Mistress Mary, quite contrary,
How does your garden grow?
With cockle shells and silver bells
And pretty maids all in a row”
Think-Tank feels that people on Earth are have
become so advanced that they are now capable of growing crops of high
explosives.
Iota reads another rhyme from the book:
“Hey diddle diddle! The cat and the fiddle,
The cow jumped over the moon,
The little dog laughed to see such sport,
And the dish ran away with the spoon.”
After having listened to these lines, Think-Tank
thinks that people one earth have taught musical culture and space techniques
to animals that are domesticated and that even their dogs have a sense of
humour.
Oop reads lines from another rhyme:
“Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall…”
Think-Tank gets frightened and ends up concluding
that Humpty-Dumpty is actually his balloon brain. He also infers that people on
Earth know how he looks since they have seen him and that they are planning to
occupy Mars.
2. The aliens in this play speak English.
Do you think this is their language? What could be the language of the aliens?
Answer: No, English is not their language because whatever is written in English is transcribed to the language that is spoken by them. I feel the aliens communicate using sounds.
