Answer: The word 'I' in the phrase alludes to the story's narrator, Ruskin Bond. He believes this since the tiger approaches the author with a cunning expression in his glittering eyes and a crouched body. Making a hasty retreat to his feet, rolling over on his back and kicking with joy, and pretending to bite his ankles.

Answer: Timothy became less friendly around the age of six months. When the author and he went for a walk, he would try to sneak away to stalk a cat or a pet dog. They occasionally heard frantic cackling from the poultry house late at night, and feathers littered the porch in the morning. Finally, when Timothy began stalking Mahmoud about the house with a wicked intent, Grandfather decided to send him to the zoo.

7. Why did Grandfather want Timothy to be put in another enclosure?

Answer: Timothy was snarled at by a leopard in the adjoining cage. Timothy had to slink back to his corner every time the leopard charged at the bars. As a result, Grandfather requested that Timothy be relocated to a new enclosure.

8. What shocked Grandfather in the end?

Answer: After six months, Grandfather returned to the zoo to see Timothy and walked right to the cage where he was placed. When Grandfather requested that Timothy be moved to another cage, the keeper stated that the tiger in the cage was not Timothy. The zookeeper informed him that his tiger Timothy had died two months prior, which startled him.

Discuss the following topics in groups.

1. Shoot animals with a camera, not with a gun.

Answer: Animals are incredibly fascinating organisms. They are just as much a part of nature as humans are. God made us all in the same way. We have no legal authority to murder or injure them. We must use a camera instead of a pistol to photograph animals. We should take a picture of them and keep it. We must treat them with warmth and affection. Our natural world would become unbalanced if these species did not exist. As a result, we must watch after and safeguard them.

2. Keeping pets helps us become more loving and tolerant. It also helps us respect life in any form. Do you agree?

Answer: It's true that having a pet makes you more caring and accepting of others. Pets, like children, necessitate a great deal of attention and care. They, in turn, show their love and affection and are always loyal. We will be able to have genuine love and care for other human beings and other kinds of life if we learn to love and respect animal life.

3. Have you heard of the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA)? What do they do?

Answer: Yes, I'm familiar with the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). The goal of this organisation is to safeguard all helpless animals. It takes care of sick animals and administers medication to them. It is a shelter for stray dogs. Animals are fed in these societies. They also prevent others from being cruel to animals. They raise awareness about the need of treating animals with kindness. They advocate for animal rights and protection. PEOPLE FOR THE ETHICAL TREATMENT OF ANIMALS (PETA) is another non-profit organization. They conduct comparable tasks as well. When I'm older, I'd like to join either the SPCA or PETA.
