1. Why was everyone in the Control Room
greatly excited?
Answer:
Everyone in the Control Room was excited because they had spotted a thing, and
it was a high chance of being a spacecraft.
2. Was the spacecraft manned or unmanned?
How do you know it?
Answer:
The spacecraft was unmanned because the reports suggested that they did not
contain living beings but just instruments.
3. What did Number One and Number Two
suggest should be done about the alien spacecraft?
Answer: Number One was in charge of the defence, he
was wise and brave, he suggested that if they wished they could totally destroy
the spacecraft with their missiles but that would not be of much help. Since
they did not have the capacity to render these spacecraft unoperational, they
could render them ineffective anytime they chose. Whereas Number Two
recommended non-interference and observation since they had no clue about the
intention of the spacecraft.

Discuss the following topics in
groups.
1. If you had to live in a home like
Tilloo’s, what parts of life would you find most difficult? What compensations
might there be?
Answer:
If I had to live in a home like Tillo’s I would find the artificial conditions
to be most difficult. Life without no sun, no rain, no stars, and no natural
resources would make life dull and boring.
One can just be able to control temperature and air
pressure artificially to compensate for life in such a dull environment.
2. What, if anything, might drive mankind
to make their homes underground?
Answer:
If the sun becomes hostile, the air gets extremely polluted and conditions on
the surface are not fit enough to survive then it might drive mankind to make
their homes underground.
3. Do you think there is life on other planets?
Can you guess what kind of people there may be on them? In what ways are they
likely to be different from us?
Answer:
There might be life on other planets. There may be different types of people or
even aliens. A lot of research has been carried out to find out whether life is
present on other planets.
Since the conditions on other planets will be very
different from our planet. They can have different body structures and physical
characteristics as they have adapted to the harsh conditions of other planets.
